Description
Alaska-Yukon Moose are known for their massive body size and antlers, and are sought after by hunting enthusiasts worldwide. Weighing in over 1600lbs on the hoof, mature bulls will often sport antlers ranging in width from 55”-75”, making them a truly awe inspiring animal to see firsthand. These bulls will average 56-65" in width and score 205-230". This outfit aims for 60" minimum but wont pass up bulls that are 57"+ with big palms and fronts. Bulls harvested greater than 65" has happened each season. Hunters can expect to see anywhere from 5-15 bulls a hunt including a dozen or more cows. Hunting is done from our spike camps. We have no remote cabins in the area, rather prefering to put up our wall tent camps and staying mobile as needed to find the best bulls. Generally we camp close to a lake for pickup with a float plane, and within a decent distance of good glassing knobs that are easy hikes (20-30 minutes going slow) and easy for older hunters to get up. Primary hunting is spot and stalk with lots of glassing from these knobs and then sneaking in once spotted in the distance. Horseback style hunts or fly in backpack/lake hunts or jetboat hunts available

Hunting is done from our spike camps. We have no remote cabins in the area, rather prefering to put up our wall tent camps and staying mobile as needed to find the best bulls. Hunters would likely get flown out or ride horses out to their spike camp the day they arrive, and would show up late the night of the last day of the hunt.
